(Ciao has it wrong. It's co.uk)
(My membership is finished now, and I have lost 15lbs. The loss did slow down, but I got there in the end. I can honestly say I was never hungry on this diet. Greedy, yes; hungry, no.I went out to dinner several times, and ate whatever I fancied, though it only ... Read review
Advantages: Easy to use, friendly encouragement, Disadvantages: Committment is required
I came across ediets some time ago, it is well over a year since I left them. I was introduced to them through Tescoes who were giving out a special offer on membership. The site is one that automatically debits your account to renew your membership unless it is cancelled. The cost was about £3 per week
at the time but you have to pay extra for various other services, there are different price plans for the various diets.
The site is easy to use. ... ...do each week and then choose a diet plan to suit your needs, prepared food, instant, meat, vegetarian, whatever you want really and you are quickly sent your e-plan.
The plan gives you a workout to do each day. This part of the site is very good. You can printout your daily workout. The site also gives animated versions and descriptions of how to do the workouts which I found very helpful.
The diet part of the site is the part I found hard to follow. ...

Quick review of eDiets.co.uk
Totals plan. Via Tesco Diets/ which is same thing. In ten weeks lost no weight. List of foods and points was vague and inconsistent, Mailed them numerous times with their wrong calorific values.
Very little tesco foods on it. nutritionalist advice monotonous and not personally tailored.
Now with Mirrorslimming.co.uk Easier to use and cheaper. Also more useful tools. I would not advise the Tesco/eDiet plan as they also give you totals and calorie value. Even if under calorie value e.g. 1000 calories in a day, can be over points. they could not explain this. ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: awful customer service
Dreadfull customer service!!! BEWARE of getting snared in their ts&cs - paid £29.90 for a 10 week subscription and I was clear that like most companies they operate a policy of not giving a refund if cancelling within the minimum sign up period. What I did not realise though was that they automatically renew the service after the initial period unless you contact them to cancel. Didn't find this out until £13.95 was taken from my account, anyway ... ...expired) and didn't think it would be a problem - like any reasonable company they would be sympathetic to the fact that I didn't realise this, and simply refund me the £13.95 but NO, they point blankly refused to give me penny refund - I should of apparently more carefully read their ts&cs!!! ...

Advantages: easy , get the body you want Disadvantages: none
If like me you have tried every fad diet under the sun and still had no joy with the weight loss you start to think why bother..
Thats exactly what i did "why bother?" I looked everywhere weight watchers . slimming world , rosemary's GI diet and every other plan going but couldn't seem to stick to a plan or rather the plans bored me..
I don't have the time with a young baby to sit there and weigh this and weigh that to make a meal for the family. ... ...exactly what i found with tesco ediets..
They are great you get the option to join up for a minimum term of 10 weeks which works out to £2.99 weekly which on its own is a fab price to pay weekly..
For your money you get complete 24 hour support via forums online consultants that you can talk to in realtime conversation either on the phone or via your pc..You also get a complete meal plan designed specifically for you, this is made from you input ...

Advantages: so many diets to suit everyone!! Disadvantages: which one to choose????????
After always having a problem with my weight and always being unhappy, I decided to do something about it so I joined ediets as they were doing a promotion that you got 1000 tesco clubcard points when you joined (which is £10 off your shopping). It was very easy to set up a membership and from only £3 a week good value as well.
The website is really easy to use and there are charts and graphs to show you the progress of your diet after you weigh ... ...you need it, and at each weekly weigh in they give you the opportunity to write comments on how you feel you are doing etc, which you then get a personalised reply to within 48 hours.
I firstly joined ediets on a healthy eating programme where I got given a weekly meal plan, which I could personalise from a list of recipes. However after the first week I found this difficult to stick as I didn't have some foods and it just became annoying. So having ...
