Advantages: lots of play opportunities Disadvantages: none
...Who is coming top play with me today? Today I will be playing at market stalls I have a vegetable stall. I bought a box of vegetables from the earlylearningcentre to use.
For the price of £10 I received a green crate it has 12 pieces of veg in it. A carrot a tomato, an onion, an aubergine, a courgette, a cauliflower, green pepper and sweet corn some broccoli too, the vegetables are made of plastic and are quite realistic. The pieces of vegetable are a good size for little hands to hold.
There is a play knife included in the set as the vegetables are pre-cut into 2 or 3 pieces and stuck back together with Velcro ready for your child to disassemble them, cut them with the knife
This crate of vegetables gives plenty of opportunity for learning through play.
First He /she could arrange them on the table and play shops...

Advantages: Teaches your child letters, sounds and words Disadvantages: None
...This is a review on the different types of Flash Cards that the Early Leaning Centre sells and how I think it has helped my twins progress.
~Giant Alphabet Flash Cards~
These I have found very helpful, on the one side there is the letter of the alphabet and a picture of an animal or object that begins with that letter, this is very useful when they are just recognising letters and the picture is there to help associate that letter to that object. On the other side of the card is just the word of the picture, so when they get a bit older you can just show them the word, but if they get stuck it is easy just to give them a little encouragement by just flicking the card over, it is amazing how quickly they learn. These cards are pictured at the top. These cards are for ages of 3-6 years and cost about £3.00

Anyway, I wanted to get something that was somewhat different to the toys we already had, didn’t cost a fortune & that she would be able to use or play with herself & most importantly, something that would be just for her. So off I trudged into town to find this ideal toy.
I’d spent a lot of time looking round various shops when I happened upon this teddy. It’s an EarlyLearningCentreEarly Years Toy. I found it in the EarlyLearningCentre franchise in my local Boots store, which was very handy as my...
