This conveyancing company based in Southend claim to be able to carry out your house sale/purchase quickly and easily over the internet, while allowing you to keep up with events by logging in 24 hours a day! It's a farce. According to their website, and in particular my account details, they last reviewed my case yesterday, and the last thing that happened was that we returned a fee. In theory the next thing to happen should be the exchange of contracts ...
...over a month ago. There customer service is atrocious (long lunches, staff on holiday, no response to letters/emails, long time "on hold") and there workmanship on the conveyancing is no better - we had to tell them to check out the conservatory's planning permission. I have recently moved into my new home and I stumbeled upon this review site. I thought I would have to say that my solicitor was great. Always there to answer my questions and I usually got a response to my queries within a couple of hours. The SMS and email updates sent by easier2move really helped keep me in the loop.
