I haven’t actually shared my journal with a lot of people. This option isn’t really my thing since I use it mostly for venting and some of my angry rants could be hurtful or offensive for those who read them. My diary is a place to spill my feelings, not restrict them for the reading pleasure of others.

When I’m on my journal’s website, I can log in to the diary entry section. Which is a good feature because I don’t have to add two pages to my favorites list even though they are essentially the same thing.
Signing Up --------------
Signing up is fairly easy. Decide between Free or Paid, and fill out the forms. (The differences are listed at the bottom) I didn’t encounter any errors while signing up, and everything went by pretty quickly. You can start using your journal immediately, without any sort of confirmation email. I like this feature because I hate waiting around for some automatic server.
Using EasyJournal ----------------------
Posting a journal entry was easy as well. Just log in, hit the new entry button and type away. They also have formatting options such as size, a wide range of colors, hyperlinks, and the traditional Bold, Italic, and Underline. I suggest formatting your text after you type it because these buttons only place the HTML code into your text.
A neat feature is the External Image option. It’s below the text typing area, and you just put a title of the picture and the URL where it is located. When I’m on my journal’s website and in the specific journal entry, I can see the title of my photo which relates to my entry. Clicking it will pop up a new window with the picture. With a feature like this available to Free users, who needs the Pro’s 5MB upload?
After everything is the way I like it and I hit the Send button, I come to a screen that asks me if I want to notify my friends of a new journal entry. I’ve never actually used this feature, but I’m pretty sure it works as I haven’t come across any dead links in this website.
Personal Experience -------------------------
When I am angry or upset, I like to vent a lot of my feelings. I find that writing them with a traditional pen and paper can sometimes be messy when I am angry and writing furiously about whatever happened. I use a diary to let out all of my bad feelings without being destructive. It is highly recommended to keep a diary for therapeutic purposes by many psychologists.
I have also taken to writing some of my poetry on this site as well. Pen and paper written poems often end up very messy with the scratching out and changing of different lines and stanza orders. On a computer, it’s a simple press of a key.
Others use it to document their day, or as a place to leave notes for their virtual friends, or distant family. The popularity of ‘Blogs’ has grown, and EasyJournal.com has become part of this fad as well - just in a less stylish way.

Overall ---------
This site is very quick to load because it doesn’t have high graphic content. It doesn’t look very fancy, but it is extremely easy to publish your diary entries. The options are very limited for the Free account compared to some other diary websites (like opendiary.com) but still useful for the average diarist who just wants to type their innermost thoughts to share or store online. The only thing I miss by not paying for the Pro account is the different backgrounds. Right now, the default is a dismal gray color. Not very exciting.
Their best feature is having the diary as it’s own website. You can use it as your homepage if you really wanted to, and it is easier to share with online friends.
Free vs. Pro ---------------
Free Account: - default background only - unlimited entries - password for friends option - web URL for journal - lots of Ads
EasyJournal Pro ($14.95 US for 6 months or $24.95 for a year): - several different backgrounds - option to make new backgrounds - 5MBs of uploaded pictures - unlimited entries - password option for friends - web URL for journal - NO ads
