Ebay was The first auction site that I visted, mainly because it was the only one I had heard of! I joined up not knowing quite what I was doing, but, after a while I soon got the hang of buying and selling like the pros! The service was easy to understand (if not a little long winded at times) and there seemed no end to the bargains to be found. You can check the profiles of anyone who is advetising items for sale to see what other people have said about their service (and honesty) on item that they have sold before. It also offers free insurance on anything you bid for, and if someone isnt being honest with you or withholding payment, Ebay will sort it out for you. The only drawback is it all comes at a price! Ebay will charge you a insertion fee, and, if what you are selling has been sold sucessfully, a percentage of the total sales cost will also be taken (but only a small one). Overall, I would recomend Ebay to anyone who dont mind paying a little money to recieve a good service. Happy biding!
