I think I've got one of those compulsive over bidding disorders or something. I mean, let me on that site and I can spend so much money, which isn't bad for the people I'm buying off but it's sure hitting my wallet hard! Honestly though, this is such a good site! You can find so much on here and I'm so happy with the price I pay for the things on this site.
To be honest, my main purchase on this site is CDs, but it is a fantastic site to buy everything. I have purchased things at such a big discount to the shops that have been in such great condition.
THe site is really easy to navigate. It's split up into sections, CDs, Books, Electrical Equipment etc and in these categories there are sub categories. For instance, in the CD category there are sub-categories for rock, pop, R'n'B etc.
To bid or sell an item, you must firstly sign up with the site. To do this, it literally takes about 2 minutes and then you're ready and away to start shopping. You will be issued with a username and password, which you enter when you log into the site. You use this to bid on and sell items.
If you bid on an item, you will be alerted if someone outbids you so that you can then bid a higher amount if you wish. If, at the end of the allocated time period for the bid, you're bid has been successful, you will be e-mailed by eBay and by the seller, who will give you their address, so that you cna send your payment to them. Then, when they receive your payment, they will dispatch the item. It's as simple as that!
Overall, this is a fantastic site and I love it, give it a try!

I use ebay a lot but i could not help agreeing with your disadvatage that auctions go on for far too long. Sellars sem to think they are getting there money's worth by placing an item on for 9 days but i think there're wasting their time as I will not bid untill at least 2 hours before the listing ends then you get the realitic price of the item. great op thanks

Sounds good, but its best if I steer clear I think. No self control when it comes to spending money.
