Any self respecting auctioneer must frequent this site! The things you can find are just amazing, and if you're really lucky, you can grab some great bargains.....
You have to be a member, to bid or to sell, but registering is free. If you are selling, at the moment, it's free to list your item, but there is a charge if the item is sold. It's still cheaper than advertising in the local papers though! Example, I sold a T28, erricson mobile phone for £280.00, and my fee was a little over £8.00. Not bad!!!
eBay also keep you notified, on a daily basis (you can change this if you wish) of how your auctions, and bids are going.
If you want a set price for anything, use the reserve auction option, otherwise you are obliged to sell at the auctions final price, not good if you know it is worth £100.00 and it only reaches £20.00!!! So beware!
Members are also rated in the feedback forum, which is useful to see if you bidder is a good payer and stuff. Also they do have a complaints procedure if things don't work out. Plus you are insured!
So, get your nodding and winking heads on, and go be a bigshot in the e-auction world! Happy trading!!!
I hope this is a little better than my last two opinions!
