If, like most people, you have extra things around the house that you never use or have cupboards full of stuff and think that you really should have a tidy out look no further than ebay. Also if you are looking to buy things ebay is a great place to start.

Ebay is one of the main auction internet sites and is available in a number of countries including the UK.

For a small listing fee, as little as 15p per item, which depends on what type of auction you decide upon and the value of your item you can place your ad which is then available to a very wide audience of prospective purchasers, this fee is payable whether or not you sell your item. If you are successful in selling your item/s there is then an extra charge based on how much you sell your item for. Full prices are shown on the site but remember if you don’t sell you only pay the listing fee.

There are a very wide range of categories from antiques to toys, tools to electronic goods, houses to stamps basically you name it and you will probably find a category for it.

You can choose how to sell your item and for how long you want the auction to run for example you can set a minimum bid or a reserve price and can place an ad for one day or ten, it is always best to include a weekend as you get more visitors to the site at this time.

If you decide that you do want to buy or sell items registration is easy and the site has full details on how to buy and sell.

My husband has used the site to sell a number of items and has been very impressed and pleased with both the site and the final prices that he has received. He has also been very pleased with some of the items that he has purchased. We check the site on a daily basis and are very pleased to have found it.

If you want to sell those unwanted items and raise some extra money ebay is the way to do it.

If you have read my opinion please rate it whether good or bad. Thanks.

I started as Auburnsue selling stuff before we moved house and I still use this name for bits and pieces, but I have now opened a shop called Braemargifts and it's doing quite well! So I guess I'm addicted too! Susan

Hi :-) I love Ebay too, and it beats giving Rebecca's old baby stuff to the bin men or the charity shop!

Sounds good. Kind of like a car boot without the hassle of getting wet etc.
