When i have been down on financial luck and the bills have needed paying, where have i turned? To Ebay. The Undisputed king of internet auction sites. The money i have made at times! Having such a well known, world respected place to sell your items is such a bonus. Years ago most people would have made do with the local classified ads. Selling in such a way does not always attract a market interested in your product. Ebay allows you to sell to a massive audience and you are sure to have that viewers market if your item is somewhat sought after.
Layout and design is one of the only weaknesses Ebay have. This is because so much is packed into every page, giving the auction viewer many options unlike other internet auction sites. We can allow for this slightly unattractive appearance.
The website is very fast and they keep their content as updated as much as possible. The catagories are well defined and navigation is easy. The search facility can often help you locate an item.
Security as never let me down. The security attacks they have suffered in the past can only be expected from such a well known internet name.
The bill tracking function at Ebay is clever. It is easy to find out if your balance is outstanding. There is also a section where you can see if your items are being bid on and if your items have not received a bid, you can always lower the starting bid price.
I also like the area where you can watch auction items that interest you. It is far superior to such facilities at other auction sites.
If i have ever had a problem, Ebay have always tried to help out in good time. I have been informed that Ebay's buyer and seller protection is a powerful option. Ebay can reimburrse you lost money, i have been told.
To the seller, Ebay is a dream. It does not only attract the market you need, but your item can attract automated bids. This can push the bids really high. Once i was bidding on this expensive camera. I was constantly being informed that i was being outbid. When the price got too high, i had to pull out. When i looked at the bidding history once the auction had closed, i could see that i was fighting against a bidder who was not in real time. The bids were accounted to a previous day! Just imagine how much lower this item would have gone for, if i had not been in a bidding war with this automated bidder. This proves that items can be sold for good money on Ebay. This automated bidding must be brought about with the aid of some kind of program. I just do not know? Also i sold an item For £81 on Ebay. Five hours before the auction closed the item was only at £20!
A powerful, easy to use auction site. Worth looking into and if you can work out what sells well, money could be made easily.
The only thing I find irritating about eBay are the fees. They always say that they are due out on x date and then they don't get taken until a month later - very difficult to track. I can't thing of an easier way to make money though. (Well, I can, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone...) ;O)

I use ebay too mainly to buy things but I have sold a few things on there too.

The only thing I find irritating about eBay are the fees. They always say that they are due out on x date and then they don't get taken until a month later - very difficult to track. I can't thing of an easier way to make money though. (Well, I can, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone...) ;O)
