I have been using eBay for a number of years now, and can recommend the site for ease of use and added features such as Billpoint which is a method of paying for items using a credit card in one easy transaction. There is an excellent free-text search option - key in what you're looking for and the results will come up. Or use the main screen to find what you want with the broad categories listed. It's possible to search for items just in the UK or items available to the UK from all over the world. It's worth checking for hidden charges if buying from abroad eg the odd $5 handling charges. But of course if you've got a bargain, maybe you won't mind! And there's an option called myeBay which allows you to track the items you've bid on, or are keeping an eye on to bid later.
