OK before i restart this op i need to say one thing. Sorry. I cant find out how to move this to ebay instead of Ebid but here it goes. Ebay.co.uk is the only online site that i trust with my money with its fraud prevention programme etc. Although there is a lot of methods used to combat this problem there are those who slip through the net and manage to sting people for hundreds of pounds. I have heard many stories of this happening but the one that sticks in my mind is this one;
My friend decided he trusted Ebay as he had made many many purchases from their and bought a computer foolishly forgetting to check the sellers feedback. And low and behold he sent a cheque off to the seller, the seller waited for the cheque to clear and then did not send the laptop. He complained but it was too late. He is due in court on the 30/3/2003. Although he paid £400 for this never arriving laptop he spent £200 on legal fees leaving him out of pocket. Trust me read the feedback.

Now for what ebay has on it.

There are many features that Ebay has such as:

the feedback system were buyers/sellers can tell others what the other buyers/sellers what this member is like. This really helps to see the false from the true sellers.

the featured section; were sellers can pay extra money to ebay so that there auction can stand out more on the ebay website.

Items im watching; a place were you can watch certain auctions and get e-mails when new bids are made on this item and an e-mail an hour before it closes.

This website is all the hype says it is. You can buy or sell absolutely anything from socks to laptops. With a minimal charge for doing so.

(I hope this op is better than my last!)

This is now in the right place so you may want to update the op and remove the part about not knowing how to get it moved. Now to try and sort out your e-bid one. Fionaxx

Hey, I can't say whether your opinion has improved as I didn't read it before, it may well have, but I feel it could be improved a bit further. What are you personal experiences on Ebay? Layout? A valid effort though! Hope everything goes well for your friend! The feedback rating is a bit of a catch 22, because new members start at 0, so someone has to trust them in the beginning. Thanks - Alex

Not much about Ebay more about a friends experience, try to stick to the point a bit more. A bit more detail would help as well.
