I am also an Ebay addict. I came across it over a year ago now and thought what the heck lets give it go and start by bidding on something low. What a way to save money I have brought loads this way now. It is easy to get started so long as you have a valid email address and bank card. We have found one of the advantages to Ebay is being able to find videos etc that are no longer available in the shops. We have found it great for clothes as well and have kitted are kids out via ebay this year at a fraction of the cost. Its also a great way to make yourself a few quid getting rid of all thoses bits of junk that are no longer of any use. We list about 20 items a week and even after we have paid are listing fees its still as cheap as if we have gone to a carboot and in the winter a jolly site warmer. On some items we have listed we reckon we have made more than if we had sold them at the carboot. Its an easy site to get round and the Help section is especially helpful.
Heres the added bonus reading thru peoples opinions about the disadvantage of being outbid!!! Now Ebay provide a toolbar that can be downloaded to your PC, that pops up and tells you, you have been outbid and also if something you are watching is 10 minutes from finishing.
So give ebay a go, it works for us we have saved pounds and made a few besides!!!
A good quality opiniopn on the "pro's and con's" of ebay. You seem to have covered all aspects and have helped with the toolbar info. Perhaps a link would help as well or info on how to get the toolbar.

The only thing I've ever bought from ebay was broken so I'm wary about using it now. Love, Corinne.
