I signed up to Ebay a couple of years ago and did nothing with it, never even bothered looking. Was I mad or what? About a month ago, my youngest daughter starting bugging me to sell some of her old DVD`s and CD`s. So off we went on a journey of discovery and surprise. In the last month we have made over £100 by selling old books, DVD`s, CD`s and other bits and bobs. Stuff that was just sitting around taking up space in a house that is not very big. My daughter loves Punk Rock music and a lot of the music she likes, she has only been able to find on Ebay. She is now one very happy 16 year oldwith stacks of music she loves. I too have brought many items such as hard to find books or those out of print. I have a big pile of stuff from each member ofour family, ready to put on our Ebay shop. It is so easy to set up and maintain. Lots of helpful tools (for idiots like me). Luckily, where I work I am able to pop over to our post room and send items off, which saves standing in line at the Post Office. Ebay do charge to list items, but that is fine, well worth it for a few pennies a time. PayPal seems to be the most commonly used form of payment, which is also very easy to set up. I have not had one problem with deliveries or payment to date (touch wood). It is great fun seeing a bidding war going on over one of your items which we had last week. A copy of a McFly DVD-CD which my daughter purchased in HMV for £2 and it sold for £20. Amazing. People really do buy anything. Clear out that attic, dust off your junk. It will be someone elses pride and joy in a matter of days. If you would like to visit my Ebay site, please leave me amessage and I will give you details. Regards. Fran
