If i was to list all of the items that you could buy on ebay then i would be here for every because there are way too many. To be honest, what ever it is that you are looking for i am sure that you will be able to find it on here.
I think that the best section on ebay that I will recommend to you is the Designer clothing section. I used to have the money to buy this stuff in shops, but now money is a bit tight and i cannot buy as much anymore. For a lot of you i think you will probably find that once you have children buying lots of nice new designer clothes is not how you will be spending your money. But on Ebay the great Designer clothing section is great. It is split up into different designers to make it easier for you to find what you want and it is searchable through, so you can look up certain things that you want
to save you having to go through everything and waste all your time.
Also I better mention the babies and children’s sections too. Here you can find some great stuff as well, a lot of it new and I can tell you I’ve bought a lot from that section.
Like I said before though, there’s lots of section on there and to be honest the only thing I can really suggest would be for you to look and see exactly what I mean!!!
Some sellers may decide to give you the option of "Buy Now". This basically means that you can buy the item at the price the seller is asking for. Some items will operate on a bidding where you can put in a bid on the item. This won’t always be accepted as they may have put in a reserve price on the item so that they can get at least that amount and not get ripped off by very low bids.
If you are the win a bid for an item then you will be told when you place the bid. You are generally emailed when you place bids, win items or are outbid on items. So you are kept up to date all the way, and if you do want to raise your bid then it is very easy for you to do so. There’s nothing worse than being outbid last minute on something you really wanted. I will warn you that this does happen quite a lot as people tend to wait until the last minute to check final prices.
Ebay have now got an SMS service. This is good as you can be kept up to date with your items you are bidding and selling all through your mobile phone. This is great to use but you are charged to use this service by your service provider.
Selling items is done in pretty much the same way as I have already explained. You can sell an item as a Buy Now, where people can buy it at the price that you have asked for or they can just simply bid for your items. If your item doesn’t sell the first time around, Ebay will actually re-list it for you for free. The only problem i found with this is that if the item doesn't sell the second time round then you do not get any fees back. All fees that you get charged are payable on a monthly basis so that it is easier for you.
If you do decide to buy and sell on ebay then paying for items really is very easy. You can use several online paying facilities, this include the very popular Paypal which i have found is the easist option. But if you prefer you can use cheques, postal orders, cash or whatever the seller decides to put as the payment methods. There are so many different ways you are sure to find one that you feel safe with.
The only thing I don’t like about the site is there customer service section where you can ask them questions. This isn’t easy to find at all and if you do manage to find it and ask them a question you will probably find that you won't get a very good response from them. They always say that they will try and email you within 24 hours. I have found that after used this customer service option I havent had any email from them other than one email asking me to fill in a survey for their customer service team. I found this even harder than my problem in the first place as i didn't know the answers to any questions as they haven't even helped me.
Overall I love this site and i am sure that many other people do too. It can be very addictive but I would still recommended it to everyone. Even if you don’t even buy anything or sell anything i think that it is still worth a look as you never know what you will find.
Here are the listing fees for Selling items. These do sometimes change slightly but these are what they were last time i sold things on there. Opening Values - Listing Fees £0.01 - £4.99 - £0.15 £5.00 - £14.99 - £0.30 £15.00 - £29.99 - £0.60 £30.00 and up - £1.25

I absolutely LOVE Ebay! I like it because if you are looking for something you have not been able to get anywhere else you can usually find it on here x
Advantages: Great customer support, cast iron safety net, good value, hard to find items, community feeling, easy site. Disadvantages: Obviously not all people are as fair or honest as others, but luckily these are few and far between.

Review of ebay.co.uk
Advantages: Like a giant car boot sale, without ever leaving the house Disadvantages: Has an air of riskiness about it, though you could choose sellers with very high feedback for safety's sake

Advantages: Finding things you will almost never see in a shop again! Disadvantages: Having to wait to see if you win it and then waiting for delivery!
