*What is it?* It is an online auction site where you can buy or sell things.There are several different versions depending on where you live . For the uk it is www.ebay.co.uk
*Signing up *
-very easy just enter basic info such as your name ,email address etc . You have to be over 18 to use the site. To be honest i dont think i was though so they cant be that strict
*Buying* (ive had the most experience doing this lol) You use the search engine to find what you are looking for eg dress size 12 red and it will list the results.You can then place a bid or some items let you place an offer and if it is excepted you win it.Paying-most sellers offer several means of payment-paypal,cheque etc. When you pay buy paypal you are covered up to £500,so if the item is faulty or does not arrive you can easily get your money back.
*selling* Setting up an account to sell things is also very easy. They do charge you to list things depending on what it is,whether or not there is a picture etc. If the item does not sell they let you list it again for free. They also run promotions where it is cheaper to sell things. When it comes to selling i would recommend downloading turbo lister (its free) and when there is an offer such as 5p listing fees put all your items for sale up.
*Paypal* -charges you and takes a fee-would not recommend-you also have to wait for pps to give you the money
Another thing i always try to do is go via a cashback or points site before i go to ebay-if you are like me and shop loads on ebay this soon adds up!!!!
