Ebay is easily the best and one of the easiest auction sites to understand. Absolutely anything you want will be listed within ebay, from drill bits to cars to computer games to businesses. It is all there, try it first next time you are about to go off down the shops to buy any hardware item. Simply type it in the search box at the top of the ebay home page and simply watch 100s of items listed for auction that would be the exact or equivalent match.
When posting an item for sale on ebay the website prompts and aids you to enter a detailed description of your item whether it be one of the latest gadgets on the market or an antique. This allows potential buyers to fully understand and appreciate the item they can bid on. Uploading pictures of your item is easily done through ebay's own photo uploader.
Feedback on buyers and sellers is continually tracked so that confidence can be built when buying from another member for the first time. Feddback is rated on speed of delivery, quality and overall cost including postage costs.
Bidding is also excellent. You can enter your maximum bid for any item and ebay will automatically bid on your behalf against other bidders to save you constantly tracking an item over a number of days.
I have had only 1 bad experience when I purchased a toy for my little one. When it turned up it was much smaller than I had anticipated and it felt as if I had way over paid for the item. Learning from that I know email the seller with any questions that are not fully explained within the description.
So start now and join and list items that you no longer want and turn your junk into cash. Remeber one mans junk is another mans gold.

Ebay have recently changed some of their systems whereby sellers can no longer leave negative feedback for buyers, even if there is non-payment for goods. Their Final Value Fees have increased AGAIN as well. I am thinking of looking at a different Auction Site as it is getting very expensive to sell low value items on Ebay.
