Hi I started using Ebay a few year ago and it has paid for my family holiday since 2004 Normal on a sunday i will go to the car boot sales early in the moring and buy what i think will sell, the best way to see what sells is to go on to the Ebay site and spend a few days surfing the site to see what sells best, i think you will be surprised at what you can get good money for, things such as Lego certain kids figures, fishing tackle, clothes, books, plants, camera's, cd's, posters, almost any thing, you could even sell old rope, so spend a little time researching the site and if you work about 10 hours a week with listing and packing & posting you too could find that it pays for the family holiday!! If you decide to sell, research ebay for similar items to get a feel for the prices things are making, give as much info about the item as you can, take a clear picture of the item, somthings need more than one picture, start with a low reserve and you will get more people interested in the item if they think it is going for next to nothing more people will bid, then find a good source for packing, i have found the local Pound shop good for supplies, also weigh the item and check the postal price with the Royalmail, and this is a must, always send your items RECORDED DELIVERY, it cost around 65p on top of the normal price, and the buyers never mind paying the little extra as they then have insurance. I have been ripped of twice and it has not happened again!!, if buying always pay the little exrtra for Recorded delivery, try to resolve any issues you have with buyers as mistakes can happen, if you talk with the buyer and resolve any problems, your feedback score will go higher and higher, and you will become a trusted member, i myself only buy from people with a feedback score of 98% or more, even if the other item is cheaper.
I hope you find this review helpful
