Out of curiosity I logged on to the E.Bay auction site and being a collector of Antiques I have found probably the best way to buy online I joined e-bay and the process costs the buyer nothing and takes only a very few minutes - then you can bid for items - all usually have a full description and a photograph.I've now bought over 50 items on the site and no problems have been experienced - I even bought from both New Zealand and Australia and the goods arrived promptly and in good order.All goods purchased are covered by insurance so if they are lost in transit you can make a claim for reimbursement.The only down side to buying like this is that the buyer usually has to pay all transit charges - these cost on average about £6 per item but the competitive prices I have paid have more than out weighed these costs. The sites are not just for antiques but for more or less anything that can be sold - I recently bought a 4 reel fruit machine from there !! I strongly recommend you have a look at e-bay.
