Advantages: Clearly none!!! Disadvantages: Mis-selling. No stock controls. Overcharge on delivery. Do not read or reply to complaints.
I placed an order with these jokers for 11 items to build a pc from scratch. All items were listed as 'in stock'. They were more than happy to take an immediate payment online and I paid extra for next-day delivery, but that's when it started to go wrong. The day after I placed the order, they called to say they didn't have the thermal paste or memory kit in stock. I changed the thermal paste to another in stock, but requested that they complete ... ...they called again trying to get me to change the memory kit. I told them if they were having stock issues, then simply issue a full refund. Of course, they didn't refund me, and they didn't even give me back the premium I paid for next-day delivery.
The following week, I called them again, as I had not received a refund, nor had they sent out the order. They advised me that they had delivered everything apart from the memory kit. Well, as you can ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Incorrect model number, incorrect picture, terrible customer service
I recently bought three keyboards from Eclipse but when they arrived I found that the model number and type of keyboard I received differed from that shown on the website. I emailed Eclipse pointing out that the keyboard did not match what was advertised on their site, suggesting that they correct their site and asking how to return the product. They replied essentially saying they didn't care that the information was wrong because they'd listed ... ...they have still not corrected the information on their website and it doesn't look like they're going to.
They also did not answer my question regarding how I go about returning the keyboards. I emailed again asking how I return the order but they simply ignored my email. I have had to email a third time asking how I return my order but so far it seems they simply don't want to give me my money back.
Having received the wrong product and a terrible ...

Advantages: price Disadvantages: no interest in company values or customer service
I had 1st used this company as they are based in my home town, i placed an online order which was delivered as specified. i placed a bigger order last friday and they took the funds from my account on leaving the web site. i called them requesting they deliver to my girlfriends home as i am there mostly and they said i have to send to them in writing my address and the address where i want the order sending to, which i did. After calling them following ... ...to me and also to send a copy of both sides of my debit card; this action from them would also incur a charge of £5 lol. Guess they all know what's going on? I called my bank and they say that no-one can varify who i am in the way eclipse asked and that i should cancel my order (eclipse told me they will fax the scanned card with my address and delivery address to the bank and then the bank would tell them that yes it is in fact me they are dealing ...

I have visited the Eclipse shop in Coventry a few times and the counter staff are helpful, but I had one small problem when fitting a Seasonic PSU - my case did not have any screws that fit the PSU. Seasonic failed to tell me the screw size, but claimed thet the screws should have been in with the PSU, and they were not. I then emailed Eclipse several times - quoting my invoice number etc, and have had NO replies through email what so ever... This ... ...the shop, the counter guy found me some screws... But I am now wary of buying anything more expensive or "technical" from them, as I am not sure they will provide after-sales support... Their phone system can be ok, but can also be overloaded and you queue for some time. I would recommend to a friend Eclipse, but would caution them about all this. ...

I last visited Eclipse Computers a couple of months back yet what I wanted sadly wasn't in stock. My first visit to Eclipse was about 3 years ago, I think. I was doing a huge surfing session trying to find a cheap unbranded MP3 player for trips to work. I was totally broke at the time and had next to no cash - so I was looking for REALLY cheap unbranded MP3 players here haha! Needless to say, after hours spent checking various sites I came across ... ...and at first I'll admit, I was a bit cautious about shopping with them. But I'm sure everyone is a bit like that when spotting an online store for the first time. I ended up spotting a really cheap unbranded MP3 that met my specifications on being 'cheap', so I thought I would take a punt and give them a try. I ended up getting a confirmation email and the MP3 player arrived not long after, as promised by Eclipse. The player has outlived most of ...
