Those of you who know what I do for a living might think that tipping the scales at 15 stone might be an advantage, and that even at that weight, I would be positively sylph-like next to many of my colleagues.
Wrong. Opera, like everything else, is going down the slim-youthful-blonde-beauty route. Nobody cares whether or not you can sing anymore, so long as you look pretty on the CD cover.
Although consumptives are not my stock-in-trade, bitch-seductresses ... ...of wider-than-tall in real life.
I needed a solution very badly.
Ediets tend to take advertising out in places like the gaps around free email services (Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.), and I have to say, I'd never taken them terribly seriously, as it all looked a bit American (the parent organisation is US based) and slightly faddy to me. However, I clicked on the UK site just to have a look around, and I couldn't have been more wrong.

About a year ago I was desperate to lose weight and decide to give ediets a try. You may recall seeing their ads which usually say 'lose 10lbs by' a specific date. Now if you calculate it u'll see that its about 2lbs a week. That rate is quite sensible and does not jepoardise your health in anyway.
The best part about this diet is that it allows you several choices for each meal of the day. And you can customise to get vegetarian, no dairy, no red ... ...Recipes are given for meals (if u choose to cook) or you can choose (if u like) to only have ready-prepared meals. . . or a combination of the two
You're allowed 3 meals and a snack a day. These are well-balanced meals.
You get advice from the diet counsellors. And there's lots of reading material available at the website and sent out in the newsletter. Another really good thing is that even after you quit using ediets, you've learn stuff about ...
