Esure car insurance

Avoid this company like the plague. they left me uninsured for over a week!
I purchased esure car insurance on 19/06/12. great competitive price. Looked like a real winner.
the policy arrived and I sent off my proof of no claims bonus in their prepaid envelope.
Last week end off on holiday and returned 22/06/12, to find a letter dated 19/07/12 from esure cancelling my insurance from 13/07/12 (yes a week before they sent me the letter)_ because I had not replied to a letter they had apparently sent to me, but that i never received.

So I was driving around from 13th july through 22nd July, breaking the law because I had no insurance.!!!

Dreadful service. They deserve to be shut down and I write this review so that other readers may judge themselves whether to take a risk on this company.

Fortunately, I was able to purchase insurance immediately via another company of course. They told me that had the police stopped me without insurance then the penalty and conviction would have pretty much rendered me uninsurable!!!

Take my advise. Have nothing to do with this company.
