An excellent e-zine

Advantages Updated every 25 days. Lots of links to other useful writers sites. Neat articles.
Disadvantages None
This site is actually an e-zine, and it and the companion e-mail newsletter, The e-Writer's Place update e-Letter are published every 25 days so the site tells us. It seems to be a very full site. Lots of interesting articles in this January 2001 issue. I particularly liked the fact that most of them are encouragement-style, how-to-do-this, how to overcome that. Lots of interesting little prods that can shift us from the sitting-in-front-of-a-blank-screen to the self-satisfaction of getting our thoughts into words, and our words onto the screen.
There is a link to a workshop designed for beginning writers and this is no fee and no sign up necessary! Definitely a plus for those with no cash to spare but who want to work at perfecting certain skills. The best part of the site for me though - Featured Site for writers. They lied! This is definitely Featured Sites - and lots of them. This page alone will take me ages to work through, but I'm not complaining. There is a veritable wealth of information at the various places linked to from this particular page - lots for everyone. This seems to be a pretty perfect little e-zine. Lots of information to suit most tastes in writing. Plenty of links. take a look and see what you think.

Sounds like a useful little site for us wanna-be-published-but-frustrated (me, at least) writers to check out!
