Well it was the great TV advert that got me first going to this site but I am unhappy to say the site does not look nearly as "exciting" as the adverts. It looks rahter plain and boring and I feel in a world where there is huge competition for internet users, you would have hoped EXCITE could spice up their design. Having said that, the functions are flawless. The typical free email, WAP phone compatability, local weather, typical shopping sevices etc etc. The search engine is pretty useful for UK searches, quite comprehensive and you can personalise the sitequite a bit to satisfy your own desires. however I would say there is nothing outstadning about excite except its adverts. It just needs to add somehting to make it really stand out in the world of internet search.
