I’ve been a user of EXCITE’s email service for most of my ‘internet life’. It doesn’t offer as much, in way of tools such as Hotmail’s and MSN’s Messenger service, doesn’t have as many subscribers. But is simple, and easy to use. The pages seem to load much faster than the other email providers. It even tells you when you have unread emails, which a lot of similar pages don’t do.

Excite.com has recently undergone a make-over, and so Excite.co.uk is probably likely to follow. But aethetically speaking it is not that bad and unlike some other pages is easy on the eye. And you can even change your colour scheme and pictures, if don't like what you see.

It also provides free voice mail, free fax service and mobile phone support (WAP).
