What is shown on the Ciao Member Statistics
Page?
The Ciao Member Statistics Page is a record of all of the actions
that you have performed on Ciao for which you have earned Community
Points. Included in these actions are writing reviews and comments,
rating other members' reviews, receiving reads and ratings for your
own reviews from other members, and inviting new members to join Ciao.
The number of points awarded for each activity varies and you can
see how the points are calculated on the "Statistics" page.
What purpose do such statistics serve?
Your member statistics allow you to gauge how helpful your contributions
to the Ciao community are to other members: the higher the number
of points you have earned, the more helpful your input. They also
allow you to see a more detailed record of your actions on Ciao than
you can find in your Account.
What does "Reviews written/made" mean?
Under the "Reviews written" heading, you can find out the
total number of reviews you have written on Ciao, the number of times
that they have been read by other users, and the number of reads that
they have received from other members. You an also see the factor
used for calculating the number of Community Points this translates
into and the total number of Community Points received. If you click
on the "Reviews written" link, you will be able to see a
list of all of your reviews and have the chance to edit or update
them if you should wish to do so.
What does "Comments written" mean?
Under the "Comments written" heading, you can find out the
total number of comments you have written on Ciao, the number of Community
Points earned per comment, and the total number of Community Points
you have received for writing comments. If you click on the "Comments
written" link, you will be able to see a list of all of your
comments and have the chance to edit or update them if you should
wish to do so.
What does "Comments received" mean?
Under the "Comments received" heading, you can find out
the total number of comments that other members have written about
your reviews on Ciao. If you click on the "Comments written"
link, you will be able to see a list of all of these comments and
have the chance to edit or update them if you should wish to do so.
What does "Ratings made" mean?
Under the "Ratings made" heading, you can find out the total
number of ratings you have delivered on Ciao, what these ratings were,
the number of different members whose reviews you have rated, the
number of Community Points earned per rating, and the total number
of Community Points you have received for ratings overall.
What does "Ratings received" mean?
Under the "Ratings received" heading, you can find out the
total number of ratings that other members have made about your reviews
on Ciao.
What does "Trust received" mean?
Under the "Trust received" heading, you can find out the
number of Ciao members who have included you in their Circle of Trust
and the number of Community Points that this translates into. If you click on the "Trust
received" link, you will be able to see a list of the names of
the members who trust you, their "About Myself" texts and
the date on which they elected you to join their Circle.
What does "Trust endowed" mean?
Under the "Trust endowed" heading, you can see the total
number of members whom you have elected to join your Circle of Trust.
If you click on the "Trust endowed" link, you will be able
to see the names of the members of your Circle of Trust, their "About
Myself" texts, and the date on which you elected them to join
your Circle.
What does "Friends invited" mean?
Under the "Friends invited" heading, you can see the total
number of new members whom you have invited to join Ciao.
What does "Community Point Level" mean?
Depending on the total number of points you have accumulated, you
will attain a certain Community Level, represented by a coloured dot
next to your name. Authors with a higher status are likely to become
better-known on Ciao; this system therefore gives ALL members the
opportunity to increase their recognition in the community via high-quality

How can I influence my member statistics?
You can influence your member statistics by trying to be as helpful
a member of the Ciao community as possible. Try to write reviews of
a consistently high quality and rate and comment on other members'
