I first became aware of figleaves.com when I received an email advising me I could have £10.00 off my first order over £30.00 as a result of entering a competition on AOL.

Figleaves.com have over 11,000 products, incorporating 70 different brands of lingerie, men’s underwear, hosiery and swimwear and offer free worldwide delivery and have a no quibble returns policy.

You can register just by entering your email address and figleaves send you a £5.00 voucher by email to be used on any order over £15.00. Once registered you will receive emails from figleaves advising of any promotions and offers. AOL users who register with figleaves.com via AOL can get a £10.00 voucher emailed to them for orders of £30 or more.

It is very easy to browse, this can be done by brand, these are all shown on the left-hand side of the home page. They are divided into lingerie brands, including swimwear, hosiery brands and men’s brands. There is also a product finder, this allows you to shop by size, occasion, style or fabric.

I decided to choose a bra by size. I selected size 36C and 110 products came up, so for a popular size it is probably better to specify a particular style or brand. When you find an item you want select ‘I want to buy it’, this takes you to choose a colour, it also shows you how many of each colour are available and you select how many you want and click add to basket.

On shopping basket you have several options, you can click to use a discount voucher, this is easy as this takes you to a screen to enter the discount code. This is then shown on the shopping basket screen as deducted off the cost of your order, providing you have ordered the correct amount to get the discount. It also displays any matching items for you to select if you want to.

To continue click purchase, this takes you to secure site where you can create an account. Enter your email address and select create an account. The next details are simply name and address and phone number and then method of payment. Figleaves accept all major credit and debit cards including American Express, Delta/Connect, MasterCard, Solo/Switch, Amex and Visa. Figleaves.com guarantee that if your credit card is used fraudulently and it is through no fault of your own they will cover up to £50 of any loss.

Gift wrapping is available free for orders over £50 and is £2.50 if you want it for orders less than £50, you even get the choice online of 2 designs. Delivery in the UK is within 2 working days or for an additional £5.00 next day delivery is available if the order is placed before midday.

My order was over £30 so I got the £10.00 discount. I received my order within 2 working days via Royal Mail. It was delivered in the product box wrapped in very pretty figleaves tissue paper and this was in a plain cardboard box with just an address label on it. Also enclosed was a returns label, all returns in the UK are free.

Once you have placed an order with figleaves.com you automatically receive their catalogue, but if you don’t want to order online you can request a catalogue.

The catalogue shows only a limited range so you may not find what you are looking for. I would suggest that you look online and then note down the item code and order by phone or use the order form in the catalogue.

Figleaves.com is also a member of Web Trader and is in partnership with www.easyshop.co.uk and I Points.

For the items I bought the prices compared well with the high street and also Bravissimo, who I have ordered from previously, but Bravissimo charge an additional £3.00 for each item to cover postage and packing.

The ranges available include Chantelle, Ballet, Charnos, Fantasie, Gossard, Janet Reger, Elle Macpherson, Freya, Warners, Wonderbra, Berlei, Pretty Polly, Calvin Klein, Playtex, and Sloggi to name just a few.

Sizes available for bras vary from 32A to 50F, I did notice that there are only limited styles in the larger sizes compared to Bravissimo. Prices vary from about £9.00 for a Thong to £153.00 for a Basque. There is a great variation in price depending on the brand name and the item.

For men there are boxer shorts, briefs, vests, trunks, strings, T-shirts and socks. The brand names include Ben Sherman, Pringle, Wolsey, Zimmerli, and Calvin Klein. There is a range of sizes and prices from £5.95 for two pairs of socks to £50 for a T-shirt.

It seems that there are no restrictions on using vouchers, I have received two via email and used them both. If you are looking for a certain brand or a size that is not readily available in the shops then there is a good chance figleaves.com will have it.

I have not experienced any problem with payment by credit card or delivery so I would definitely recommend this site. I found it very easy to use and order from.
