Firedup.com is different to the other online auctions, in that you know that you are doing business with e-retailers rather than individuals. Some of the prices do seem to be ridiculously expensive. They are selling CDs for over a tenner, whereas you can get them for £8.99 for CD-Wow.com. Are they relying on customers with no time on their hands to buy these rip offs?
I have had a very good experience of dealing with Firedup. I was able to buy a couple of signed copies of some Iain Banks novels for a price cheaper than in most online bookshops, and I was able to negotiate directly with Ottakers about reducing the p&p by half.
A bad experience was when I bought a parking timer key ring via boystuff.co.uk. However, the company was very apologetic and gave me the timer for free.
I noticed a 2 for a tenner offer on CDs and missed out on that offer. It is a shame that they do not offer something like this more often
