I have successfully purchased from this site 3 times, twice to buy CDs which were much cheeper than high street prices. The first time this was very successful but the second time they sold me a CD which they didn't have in stock and I had to wait over a month in order and phone several times to eventually get the CD.
I have sinced used the site to buy tickets for the firedup events, in this case tickets to a London jazz club. The tickets were at a bargain price, and there were plenty of pairs available for which I was the only bidder. So definately a good site to visit if you wish to get cheep tickets to london venues.
The rest of the site however is much worse. A lot of the items are advertised with the bidding starting only very slightly below the normal seeling price (this can usually be found by following the link to the selling company from the lot description). As a result many of the lots are sold at greater than normal prices.
The website also runs badly in netscape, amny of the links not working correctly (you can get around this by deleting spaces between words in the location address).

I agree with your op, it's not a very impressive site. Check your opinion for typing errors, you have a few :-) Regards, Charlotte.
