Advantages: Helpfull and they certainly know their stuff Disadvantages: my bank wouldn't let me spend any more!!
I found their experiance and service without fault, there were several guys who all seem to certainly know what they were talking about, they guided me towards the products I should have been looking at in the first place (How was I meant to know what a 'Powerflue' was!! But they explained) I had one issue...that was I couldn't spend a bit more, the amount of fires they had was scary, it was like a child in a sweet shop, i did want one of each. Anyway, ... ...design, price and my flue (I think thats the right word!! :-p) and shown me several examples fo rme to choose from, I quickly ordered it on the Friday and I had it fitted two weeks later. I love it, made my christmas, looking pretty good with our stocking on it!!

On visiting the fireplace megastore website I clicked on the icon for finding the product cheaper somewhere else. I wrote a message with the appliance details and the website where I had seen it advertised cheaper. I also mentioned that there was another item that I would be purchasing from them. I received a standard email acknowledging receipt of my inquiry. I heard nothing further so I phoned and explained my query. I was told someone would phone me back. After still no reply I phoned again and was put through to a salesman who simply picked up the phone and said 'goodbye'. I phoned again and left a message from which no reply was received. Customer service rated 0. Thank goodness I didn't buy anything from them. Imagine if I had had a problem! ...

Ordered fireplace on-line and they took the money instantly from my credit card.
6 weeks and four failed delivery dates later, god knows how many phone calls and emails, four long wasted days spent waiting up to 8.00 at night for delivery and some of the worst excuses I have ever heard - and still no fireplace. They did actually get a whole fireplace delivered once ….but it was chipped. They do not package anything so it is no wonder that they get damaged.
After the fourth failed delivery I demanded an immediate refund so that I could order from another company. I had to contact them three times before I got the refund - and I still did not get a proper apology! This company is a joke and they have no idea how to treat customers - avoid at all costs. They may be the cheapest but I would rather pay more, get a fireplace in one piece and retain my sanity. ...
