Advantages Nice messages
Disadvantages Cyber bullying, negative messages to people.
Seriously, is this website for real? People are trying to stop cyber-bullying and they let someone make this. Formspring.me is basically a website allowing people to post anonymous messages to people. I think it's absolutely appalling to think that someone hasn't shut down this website.
Some people might like the website because they get lovely messages on there, but I can't imagine what some people must feel like when they read something horrible that someone has written. I know what it feels like to get something horrible written about me; it isn't nice.
From my point of view, the creators of Formspring have just made bullying online a whole lot worse. In all fairness you don't have to make a profile on there if you don't want to. But, not making one doesn't stop people from writing horrible things about you on someone else's profile.
I would definitely not advise anybody to make an account. But if you want to know truthfully what people think and you won't take it to heart, then go ahead. You either love it or you hate it, I suppose.
In my opinion, it just completely confuses me how they say they want to stop bullying, yet they haven't done anything about the website that's practically encouraging it.

Whilst I have read better reviews, this is a very good warning to all here about the pitfalls. The internet is very difficult to regulate and where you talk about "they" shutting it down I'm curious to know just who you think "they" might be. R.

You don't say what the website offers - surely there's more to it than a place to post messages?
