I found Fotango from a link on Ciao's homepage. A day after signing up I received a package with two film envelopes and a voucher worth up to £6.49 for processing. I popped into one of the envelopes a disposable camera I had been meaning to have developed for ages. I posted this on Friday and by Tuesday morning I received my photographs, 24 of them sized 7" x 5". The same day I received an e-mail telling me my photo's where online.
Once logged into the site I found that I could arrange my photographs into albums and give them captions. Other facilities included being able to e-mail a photo, or even an album of photo's, to a friend or turn them into e-greetings. The e-greeting option was fun, you can add things to your photo's like speech bubbles, objects and backgrounds and then write your message. You get the chance to preview your e-greeting before sending so that you can go back and change it if you are not happy with the result.
You can also have URL's for your photographs so that you can use them on other websites. I found this useful because I wanted to share a photograph with an e-group. One of the groups rules is not to send attachments to messages because of the large volume of mail we already generate. With an URL I could just pop it into my message and those that wanted to see the photograph could view it online.
Fotango stores all your photographs for free and you can even add to your collection by uploading any other scanned photo's you may have. There is also an option to allow your photo's to be made public so they can be viewed by anyone, or you can put them into a shared file to be viewed by friends and family.
If you wish you can also have your photographs turned into gifts such as mugs, jigsaw puzzles and mousemats. These would make lovely presents for special ocassions, particularly weddings and christenings.
Now, let's get down to the pricing. For a full set of prints and your photo's online it is; £3.99-£4.99 for size 6"x4" £5.49-£6.49 for size 7"x5" £5.99-£6.99 for APS RE-prints are 49pence each and available at the click of a mouse online.
For a photo CD and photo's online it is £6.49 Postage is 85p per film. Photo gifts start from £3.99
This is a little more expensive than usual, but I think it is worth it for the online album and quick response. Also, the photographs were well produced on Kodak paper and the website fun and easy to use.
My first package of photographs were free but I would definately pay for their service again.
My only regret is not having taken a photograph of myself so that I could use it in my Ciao profile!

I have just got the envelope too, and an waiting to finish a film for developing. By your op, sounds a good service though. Thanks for your comments on my opinion on Gabrielle, unfortunely CIAO has this habbit of deleting words or part words in case of offence (I presume).
Advantages: Fast service, Share your photos with friends easily, in their email, then they can purchase prints for themselves, Loads of extras to play with, some great gift ideas Disadvantages: May need to "rotate" images for them to print correctly, Any photos which you link to have an add on them
