Even though people find it fashionable to slag off Freeserve, they still do a rather good job of giving you access to the web and mail for nothing. Remember - before this we had to pay through the nose for services (MSN anyone?).
Installation of the software can be via CD or manually if you already have an ISP.
This would be the best ISP/mail service for PC beginners, as each step of the way is dealt with at a suitable level of understanding.
People might have a go at the Help Desk rates, but all of the info you need can be found at their FAQ section. The most complicated info that may be required is for uploading websites and again , the full details are there.
The FAQ also includes full details on how to set up multiple e-mail addresses for your domain.
All in all, the best for beginners and still one of the best ever!
