In the past I have written for a local youth newspaper called Talk of The Town, however, I gave this up as I was not getting paid for it!!!
Years later, here I am writing my opinions for money on Ciao.com and having great fun at the same time!

Freeserve offers a number of new packages to people who want to sign up to the net with them. There is the easy pay as you go option where you just pay for the cost of your local call connection for the time you spend online to your telephone provider, the off peak version, the off peak version using BTs Surftime and the Freeserve Time Unlimited option. All packages seem like good value to me as the site itself is great for content and the connection speeds are relatively fast. At the moment Freeserve's profits are falling, they have had to stop new memberssigning up for their unlimited time offer but this is good news for its customers. It has made the company think up new ways of making life better for its existing customers which is good. This is what all companies should do before they take new customers on. I agree with Freeserve on this one. They seem to me like a fair company. They offer competitive rates on everything the only downfall they have is that sometimes it takes a while to connect to their service as you get a line is busy message. They are currently sorting this out though due to them receiving a number of complaints about it. The site offers free e-mail and chat rooms and a number of other regular features. The news links are great and they also have Freeserve Auctions and links to great shops. As part of the Dixions group initally, I predict that in the future of internet technology lies with Freeserve as the company is becoming ever more friendly with BT I hope it goes onto bigger and better things! A top website, visit it. Fast download time too!
