GayRomeo is another of the popular social-networking/dating websites for gay, bisexual and curious men alongside the likes of Gaydar and Gay.com...but don’t let this put you off, as this relative newbie isn’t the same-old, same-old. Fake profiles and too many scams allowed. 19/10/2011

Disadvantages Badly run web site

I agree with pebbles comments basically people set up there profiles which is all very nice but you also get criminal people making up a fake profile using other peoples pictures' then what they do is to message other users with messages like for example: Dear user we would like to congratulate you on winning the lottery' your profile number was entered into our prize draw and you have become a winner! to claim your winnings please send your name address email address and bank details so that we can process your claim! Gayromeo is nice but.............. 16/08/2011

Advantages Nice place to meet hot guys and friendly people
Disadvantages When you report a scammer, even if you have proof, they don't do anything about it

Gayromeo is a nice site to meet some interesting people. I've made quite a few friends on there. The only downside to Gayromeo is that they seem to support scammers. I had a scammer from the Ukraine on there, I thought he was legit at first, but then, he started asking for funds so he can come and" visit me". Well, they have a section on their webpage to where you can report scammers. I emailed them and told them everything about that guy, even showed them the email about him asking for money (proof that he was a scammer). TO MAMY FAKES AND SCAMS ALLOWED ON GAYROMEO 18/10/2011

Advantages collect fake pictures
Disadvantages Full if scams to obtain your bank details.

I am a long term member of Gayromeo mainly because they keep throwing at me free membership.. Its a terrible site to use because there's countless fake scams happening, people being told they have won the lottery just so that you give out your bank details and so on ... Nothing is taken seriously by the gayromeo staff to put a stop to all this happening, in fact if you make a complaint then there attitude is use another site, they really don't care for the safety of there members..
