When my grandma became ill in January and had to go into a nursing home she became very depressed and felt useless to the family, so I decided to do something to lift her spirits and let her know just how much she really was needed. Over the past couple of months GenesConnected.co.uk has become one of the websites that I visit most often. It was created by the same people who run the FriendsReunited.co.uk website, and it was from an advert on that site that I first found out about it. Genes Connected is a genealogy website, with the aim of building up records of families from all over the world based on details entered by it’s members.
