If you were ever in any doubt that the Internet would change the way we live our lives then GoGaGa Radio is proof that things will never be the same again. To go back even two years and show someone this site - its design and the fact that a wide range of high-quality music can be accessed from anywhere in the world in a very short period of time - it would amaze them. But there are many sites which do exactly that, you may say. Well, yes, there are. But GoGaGa (I know, not a great name to be holding up as a beacon) is different in that it is a view of what the Internet will become in the 21st century. Firstly, it offers all its shows and mixes in all the main formats - RealAudio, RealPlayer, QuickTime and Windows Media - meaning you don't have to spend an hour downloading different software to hear a five-minute song. On top of that the design is so seemless and subtle that you barely know what you've done before music starts pouring out of your speakers. No annoying flashing messages or luminous colours or boxes - this site has come of age. And finally, an equally smooth transition from listening to the music to buying the CD online in a matter of seconds. What more can you ask for?
A first-class example of the growing maturity of the Internet. Hassle-free, good to look at and a great end result. This is an indication of what sites will become in the next 10 years.
