Google is one of the most viewed websites - daily. It's used for personal use, homework, school work and more. But what makes Google better than any of their competitors? What allows them to have more views then Bing, Yahoo and other search engines? Well there are multiple things that contribute to this. However, the biggest reason in my opinion is the ease of use. Yes, this seems rather simple but let me explain.

How long does it take for Google to load after you've typed the web address? How about Yahoo? There's a reason for Yahoo taking slightly longer. This is because Yahoo is loading more information on one page. While Google is just loading the search engine itself, Yahoo is loading Articles, links to other Yahoo sites, trending topics, a search engine, and more. This makes the page itself more complex and slightly unpleasant to the eye - mine anyways. But the page layout isn't the only reason Google is above other sites.

You know that prediction setting that will show popular searches you might be looking for as you begin to type? Well most sites are using it now, so of course you do. But guess who that was originally created by? According to my Photography teacher ... It was Google. This feature has received plenty of complaints, yet Google is still on top. I'll share a few of my experiences with you.

I use Google more than any other search engine. This is actually how I came across this website after my Photography teacher mentioning that I have a talent for writing and should consider writing some reviews in my free time. I was directed to a website with a list of 10 review websites - this was one of them. However I don't only use Google for my personal use. I have been working on my term paper the past couple weeks and I've used Google daily. I've used it to get pictures to put on my cover page, how to correctly site multiple sources, and to find information about famous photographers such as Alfred Eisenstaedt. I use this website because it's much simpler than other engines and I believe this is the same reason why Google remains to be the number one used search engine.
