n-igma is an online magazine published every couple of months which covers graffiti art all over the UK. Held on the www.graffiti.org archive of world-wide graffiti sites, This is the best presented and the most comprehensive magazine to cover the UK. With every issue there are hundreds of new photographs representing the graffiti activities of many "writers" over several weeks. Many people have a negative idea of graffiti. On the site you will find lots of legal murals, which in my opinion usually represent the most creativity and talent. I'm sure many people will go to the site and just look for the huge murals or "burners" as they are known. Another side of graffiti is the illegal side where writers paint trains and public buildings, tracksides etc... The magazine does not condone this activity but since it represents the entire UK scene without any intended bias, this part of the scene is also covered. If you're looking for the "burners", the London walls section is usually a good place to start. London has many areas where graffiti is perfectly legal. These areas are usually basketball courts or parks where the council has decided to tolerate it.
The site is put together by one of the top graffiti writers in the UK, Dek. Because of this and his connections with the whole of the UK scene, you'll find that photographs have been submitted by writers and enthusiasts from all over the country. London is more prominent however.
I would recommend this site to anyone who is interested in looking at graffiti or even people who are simply interested in design. You may be surprised by the creativity of these people if you've never seen decent UK graf before.
