Finally A chat site that breaks free from the mould of the old IRC and msn text style chat. The most exiting thing on msn and co is having arguments with people. On Habbo you can do this with so much more.

You control a Habbo (basically a little person) of which you can design to look like yourself or anythin you want. From Afros to mohicans, you can give your Habbo either the most daring or the most simplistic looks you want.

You can move your habbo around in the rooms make them dance and even get them non-alcoholic drinks.

The advantage to moving around is that there are many different conversations of which you can join in. Also, if you are bored, you just go to speak with someone else without changing rooms

Also you give your habbo a name and a life goal. People see the name when you speak and the goal when they click on you.

All of it is on Shockwave which is an internetplayer that makes the chat look like it could be on a game.

Surprisingly their are no downloads apart from the shockwave player which can use for any number of things.

Their are loads of official Habbo Hotel Rooms all of which are listed below (more rooms are added all the time):
Main Lobby
Basement Lobby
Median Lobby
Skylight Lobby
Theatredrome
Habburger's
Clearasil Cinema
Club Massiva
Cafe Ole
Cunning Fox Gamehall
The Dirty Duck Pub
Habbo Lido
Habbo Lido II
The Chromide Club
Ice Cafe
Eric's Eaterie
Hotel Kitchen

A Quick Run Through:
Main Lobby:
A big room with no real high points apart from you can get a Drink of water.

Basement Lobby:
a smaller room f which there are no good things except the offer for building your own room

Median Lobby:
Much like Basement Lobby but different people inside.

Skylight Lobby:
The median Lobby with a different Decore.

Theatredrome:
A room with a theatre set out, it even has its own play, habbonation street.

Clearasil Cinema:
Don't be fooled by the name, it isn't a cinema and it doesn't even have a screen. just a guy named marcus who stands behind a stand.

Habburgers
A fast food restraunt in which it is impossible to get any food (much like one in real life then.)

Club Massiva:
A club with two rooms. A bar and a dancefloor. Bar: you can order Drinks like orange. No alcohol. Dancefloor: has a floor on which you can dance. and also a mixing deck.

Cafe Ole:
A coffee shop which looks like it could be real, its set out is so typical.

Cunning Fox Gamehall:
A rather annoying section of the site where you can play games like naughts and crosses with other Habbos. The thing is the naughts and crosses don't work and not many people want to play.

The Dirty Duck Pub:
A pub in which you can't get any alcohol. Depressing innit?

Habbo Lido:
Probably the best room on the site. You can change ito your cossie, swim in the pool, get drinks and (if yopu have enough credits) dive off the diving board and do tricks. You can even rate the dives of others.

Habbo Lido II:
Same as Habbo Lido but with different habbos in.

Chromide Club:
It has two sections. Lounge and Dance Arena: They are like the club massiva from what I have heard but I am yet to try it fully.

Ice Cafe:
Like Cafe ole but different Decore.

Erics Eatarie:
Another Place where it is impossible to get food

Hotel Kitchen:
where the food is made. The chef gets very annoyed with you!.

Their are also lots of different rooms made by habbos. From Pop Idol rip-offs to hospital parodies. You can create your own if you have credits.

Credits can be bought by text message, credit card or post. You can only buy them by text if you are on Vodafone.

Although Habbo Hotel is an absolutely brilliant site and revolutionary for chat on the net it does get a boring after a while and sometimes, when you log on, the screen crashes.

Try it. You'll love it.

Sounds really good, not too sure about the credits thing though... but I suppose they have to fund it somehow. Good opinon.
