habbohotel.com (Habbo) is the "hangout for teens" but this is my opinion.
Habbo is an online everlasting RPG where you join as a Habbo, make friends, play games and see yourself as a 3D game character. Go to habbohotel.com (UK www.habbo.co.uk) and click on "Register", then you have to make your "habbo", fill in details etc. You need to be a limited age though, 13...
Once you've logged on, you can play in the HabboHotel. You will require Shockwave to play, though. You can make your own room, go to other "habbo's" rooms or go to a public space.
Habbo does have a filter to cover up bad words (swear words) but you can easily get around this filter. If you do say a bad word which the computers know is a bad word then it comes up with "Bobba" instead of **** or (Curse).
You can easily hack into Habbo and VERY easily scam people, e.g winning a game and NOT getting the prize.
Credits are the currency in Habbohotel which you use to buy various items such as a rubber duck, a chair, a bathtub or even a loo! Pixels are in Habbo as well which you get by logging into Habbo and collecting every 15 minutes you are online. These can then be spent for special effects, rentals and Pixel Discounts.
You don't need to install Habbo, you just need Shockwave and an internet browser, (like the one you're reading my review on!)
Habbo has lagg, which means it gets slow at times. In a crowded room you often get the most lagg when in a quiet room you don't get that much.
Overall, it's fun for an everlasting RPG where you can buy stuff and play and make new friends but think of it like this; a chatroom, with you moving about. It needs a MUCH BETTER filter as well.
