Advantages Great website, easy to use, somewhere to chat and meet friends.
Disadvantages Lots of young scammers on the site.
Habbohotel.com is an online website which is aimed at teenagers and young adults.
The website is free to join and only basic information is required to join up. Create a username, password, provide your e-mail address and then set about creating your habbo person who will represent you around the site. The head shape, hair & clothes can all be customised for free and then once your habbo is created you can begin to explore the site.Once registered the website is opened up fully and exploration can begin. There are bars, clubs etc that are chat areas and here you will find lots of other Habbos from around the world who want to chat and make new friends. There are currently over 2,000 Habbos online so there should always be something for most people to have a chat too! No swearing or rude language is allowed on the website at all and most of this is filtered to prevent it happening at all.
There are lots of areas to explore on the site and you can create your own rooms and furnish it with goods. To have furniture you can either try and win some in competitions that people hold in their rooms or you can buy coins (with real money) and then use these to purchase furniture. There is a special Club too which is a paid monthly service and further exclusive items will be received for being a member. The website is pretty safe for young children providing they don't give out e-mail addresses of course!
Overall I think the site is very easy to use and it's specifically designed for 13+ but there may even be younger people on here. The only downside of the site is the constant scamming that goes on but the way to avoid this is to just stop anyone from finding out your password, make it secure and hard to guess.I am rating the site 4/5. It is easy to use but isn't designed for my age range (well, not anymore - 21 soon!) but I do recommend it to my niece and her little friends. Best of all is that it's free!

Every site has it's scammers! I remember when this site first came out years ago and I was highly addicted. I was only a teen too :)
