The question is, Am I hot or not? Or should that be are YOU hot or not? I don’t know, are you hot? If you are, open a window or something, cool down, chill-out.

No seriously, I first heard about this site, after reading Manx’s opinion on it about a year ago, so I went over and took a quick look at it, well it was supposed to be a quick look, I actually found myself on there for a couple of hours, buzzing off some of the pictures on there.

Well what is “AmIhotornot.com” some of you may ask? well basically it’s a website (a pretty plain one at that), that allows people to submit pictures of themselves, and pose the question “Am I Hot or Not?” and then give them a rating from one to ten. There is no nudity or distasteful pictures allowed, just simple everyday pictures that you’ll find in a normal family album.

What is the site like?

As I have already stated, it is not the best put together site in the world and will never win any web page awards, and it also has quite a few irritating adverts, but I suppose it serves it purpose, after all we are not there to admire the site itself, just there to laugh at some of the ridiculous pictures and admire some of the more decent ones.

How fast is the site?

Seeing as it is a pretty plain site, it loads very quickly as you can imagine, but the pictures can sometimes take a while opening, which can be annoying, especially the annoyingly oversized ones. Also sometimes, some of the pictures just refuse to load, so you have to rate them blindly.

What are the pictures like?

Some of the pictures are of pretty good quality, but you do get the odd really poor quality picture, that is either taken from about a mile away or that small you can’t even tell what it is your looking at, but on average they are quite decent.

What are the options on the site?

Well its simple, you can either look at Woman only, Men only or a mixture of the two, but I have not bothered with the men’s section for obvious reasons, as I have no desire whatsoever to stare at pictures of men and give them ratings. There is also the option to join and submit pictures of yourself, if you dare.
If you do have the bottle to join up, there is also an option to contact other users and perhaps meet up with them, you never know, you could meet the love of your life on there.

Well are they hot or are they not?

It’s a pretty level split, there are a lot of hot and very nice looking women on here, but at the same time, there are some pretty awful ones on here, and some that look like they are men dressed up in drag.

How do you rate the pictures?

Its easy, once you are on the site, you will be presented with your first picture, just above the picture, you’ll see a scoring metre, that ranges from one to ten, ten obviously being HOT and one being NOT, once this is done, another picture will load, and you’ll see the average score of the previous picture, it couldn’t be any easier.

What are my overall thoughts of the site and its content?

I personally think it’s a pretty funny site, to waste an hour or so on, but after a while you start getting a bit bored and also some of the pictures start to repeat themselves.
I also find it fascinating the way some of the less pretty people have the nerve to put their pictures up, only to have their confidence shot to bits, but hey, I suppose it’s a bit of fun and anyway, I suspect the majority of these pictures have been placed on the site by their friends for a laugh. Actually, I was amazed at how I rated the majority of the pictures, so close to their overall average scores.

There are plenty of very nice looking and sexy women posted on this site, and that is outlined by the usual 9 point something average scores, but sometimes a really strange score comes up, where you get a not so pretty girl scoring top marks, just because she is either Blonde or sporting a skimpy bikini, how predictable us men can be sometimes, I even done it myself the other day, I was looking through the pictures, and a pretty plain looking girls picture came up, to which I would normally rate a 4 or 5, but because she was wearing a tee-shirt, and was obviously feeling the cold (use your imagination) I actually gave her a 8, OK I can hear all the girls reading this thinking “Sexist pervert” haha, but a mans got to do, what a mans got to do and reward these type of pictures.

So all in all, I recommend this site to anyone who is bored and fancies a laugh or two, and also if you want to get revenge on someone, why not post a picture of them on here for a laugh.
