Omegle is unique chatting website where the users are connected to absolutely random people from all over the world, which as you can imagine can lead to all kind of random conversations lasting a few seconds to a few minutes. Omegle is a simple styled website with a simple concept. It's a one on one chat system that connects two people via text or video chat. Text chat is simple; it's just like msn, apart from the person you're talking to is labelled only as 'Stranger.' You're labelled stranger to them too. It has an air of mystery to it and although i do prefer the video chat, text chat can be interesting at times. The main idea of this website is that you can chat to strangers, one-on-one, from all over the world, whilst remaining (somewhat) anonymous. The layout of the website is very basic but quite clever. The homepage gives a short introduction and tells you how many users are currently online on the website (there are usually about 4000-9000). There are two buttons to pick from: a text chat or a video chat (the video chat is a newer addition to the site, which requires webcam, which im too scared to try yet!). So, after I saw a recent review of the site omegle.com I was intrigued. I searched it in google and came up with a lot of good reviews, and the reviews on here were okay as well. So, I gave it a go... The concept is simple... The server loads and you are matched up with a random stranger. It could be anyone, anyplace, anything. When you first click onto the site it gives you the option to speak using a chat system (just plain text, nothing fancy) or video. The video option requires you to have a webcam.
