This is a list of things that road users do that *really* get me mad. It has nothing to do with a web page, but I couldn't find an appropriate category to submit it to, and I've had no response when I submitted it via 'product not found'. Therefore, I am submitting it in this category purely because I hope it will make you laugh!

Right, lets go. Here is my list of things that *really* get me going!

# Drivers who see traffic lights turn red in front of them, but don't stop... I always set off as soon as the lights go from red to red-amber, and just today had a car screech to a halt an inch from my car (my boyf's car actually) to the right of me.

# People who charge past you at 100mph on the dual carriageway and then slow to 50mph when it turns into single carriageway. *rants* (I regularly use a road like this and it happens every time)

# People who cut across roundabouts when you are going up the inside to turn right (another pet hate, as I have to turn right at a roundabout to get from town to home and always seem to get cut up)

# People who drive at the same speed for miles, regardless of the road. For example, 50mph down the straight bit... and 50mph around the hairpin!

# People who turn out of car parks the wrong way down a one way street... if you can't read, you shouldn't be driving!

# People who think they can beat me away from traffic lights just cause I am female and have an old car... its never gonna happen, face it lads :?)

# People with turbos, who occasionally DO beat me away from traffic lights, and even worse, old people with turbos who....

# People who think that once they are on the roundabout, they don't have to stop even if there is a red traffic light (another near miss involving me, a bloody woman driver (*grins*) and my boyfriends car.

# Women drivers! There is a difference between girl racers/good female drivers and the bloomin women drivers! I am a girl racer :?)

# Old women with alloy wheels and a big NO Fear sticker in the back window.

# People who overtake me on big hills just cause my car slows down to a crawl :?)
- then sit in front of me at 40mph, knowing damn well that I don't have the power to overtake!

# People who overtake me at 100mph, then slow down to 40mph, for the same reason as above.

# People who don't notice the filter (green arrow) on traffic lights. With a left filter, they sit at the lights and ignore your horn/headlights flashing... with a right filter they sit in the middle of the road waiting for the cars to come the other way... who are sat at a red light!

# All the people who drive their kids too and from school when it would be quicker to walk. I know that I can't get down my road around 3.30 :?(

# People in stationary cars who open their doors when you are about to drive past them

# People who park anywhere they shouldn't, especially the BMW's/Mercedes who park on the double yellows outside the P.O. on a main junction cause they can cause they're better than us (obviously) >:(

# Taxis!

# Especially taxis that double park and sit there with their brake lights on so that you sit behind them absent mindedly while you wait for the traffic to move (?

)

# People who move at the last minute for puddles/floods so that you don't see it and drive straight through it.

# People who sit in my car shouting at me to put my main beam on when I am tearing around on single track windy roads at night. Their theory is that they want other cars to see me coming... mine is that I would much rather see them first (impossible with my main beam spotlights on)

# My mate who keeps rolling his car (don't get in a car with anyone named John Dixon)

# Anyone like my Mum, who has a 2.5i and doesn't appreciate the power that she has *jealous*

# People who brake, turn, then indicate.

# Lorry drivers who don't know the height of their lorry and hit the railway bridge going out of Loughborough (and the ones who realise just before they hit it... and stop... and can't turn round) :?(

# And on the subject of Loughborough, people who don't realise there are traffic lights after the pointy bridge and launch their cars off the bridge onto the top of the unsuspecting car sat at the traffic lights (both directions)

# Can I include the local coucil who don't bother warning drivers of the pointy launchy bridge and the queues just the other side?

# Pedestrian crossings... erm, I don't usually seem to notice them.

# People who drive in part time bus lanes when they shouldn't

# People who don't drive in part time bus lanes when they should!

# Tailgaters

# Cars in the outside lane

# Especially cars that pull out in front of you at 30mph slower than you in the rain *grumbles*

# Kids

# Bikes anywhere that they shouldn't be. Actually bikesin general cause I never see them and they always seem to wobble when I'm around.

# Emergency vehicles who put on their lights and sirens to get home for their tea.

# And emergency vehicles who park on double yellows to go to Tesco to get their tea.

# Horses on main roads/in towns. That can't even be good for the horses.

# Snobby women on horses who don't even thank you if you slow down for them. OK, so I don't slow down for their benefit, I just don't want my car kicking, but even so...

# Mobile phones. Its one thing answering it when it rings, but I hate the people who choose to spend their time on the phone whilst driving.

# People who won't push out when they are turning right onto a main road (the type of main road with constant slow moving traffic). You have to sit behind them until they give up and turn left.

OK, almost everybody on the roads, cause most people really don't care about driving, and therefore don't concentrate and do some of the above things. As someone who enjoys driving in general, these people ruin it for me.

I'm off now cause I'm getting to the point where I'm so angry I'm going to burst! I'll add new things when I think of them. Hope you enjoyed my outburst!
