i fell in love wiht my ipod like many others did when i first got it, it had no scratches newere had perfect battery life and didnt crash once after about 18months (the warrenty time period suprise suprise) it lost it my screen has scratches all over it even tho i have a case for it, the thing crash's if theres a slight sudden movement and the battery life is about a day. i think that ipods r designed to staop working as soon as the warranty date expires the trick that i recommend is keeping the ipod for about a year and then "accidently" breaking the screen and get a new 1 it only works about twice but atleast u actually get ur moneys worth that way.
