...i had always seen the iTunes store when i was syncing music to my iPod but i could never really be bothered to create an account, it wasn't a huge deal because i wasn't really bothered with apps... My mind was blown one rainy day when i was bored with nothing else to do when i decided to create an iTunes account... In my opinion iTunes outdoes any of it's other competitors, Amazon was completely wiped from the table after i seen the number of songs ... ...it i was on an iTunes shopping spree ! I tried to convinved myself that this was a momentary lapse of judgment but it really was worth every penny. It is easy to set up an iTunes account contrary to my previous beliefs, every song i have looked for is ALWAYS there as iTunes has a database of millions upon millions of songs ready to buy and download. One of the main parts of iTunes that i really noticed was that it is exceptionally easy to navigate ...

Advantages: By far the easiest to use Disadvantages: Does not come as standard on PCs
...so I decided to give itunes another go. When logging on it told me that it needed to be updated (how clever that it knew!) and off it went after I agreed with the update. This took about 6 minutes. I was then able to add CDs to my library without any worry at all, as I write this review it is happily doing so for me. The settings on itunes are so amazingly simple, I do not understand why I have not used it more before today! The player is stylish ... ...one place, I would suggest itunes is the option for you. I will never use other methods again as they were frustrating. Apple have done a brilliant job of designing a player that ticks all the right boxes and gives you time to enjoy the music you own at your leisure. Summary: Easy, fast and reliable ...

iTunes is an online music shop where you can buy more then music, you can buy music, videos, download podcasts and watch TV shows.
HOW FAST IS IT?
iTunes is fast, but could be faster, it's fast when it comes to loading a 30 second preview of your song, but when you type in something that has lots of songs/videos/podcasts etc releating to that title, it's slow.
CONTENT
There are LOADS of songs, TV shows and podcasts on iTunes, everything from ... ...a band releases an album, iTunes are straight there!
SEARCH FACILITY
The search facility is really easy to use, also, when typing something well-known, (e.g. We Will Rock You by Queen) then it will come down in a drop-down menu if you type something like We Will.
OVERALL
iTunes is great! That TINY bit faster and it's there! But, 5 stars for me! ...

Advantages: Quick way to get good songs Disadvantages: Only sells compressed audio, TV shows are expensive, can only download purchases once.
iTunes is a great medium for getting hold of the latest song that you cant get out of your head as you can get it there and then legally. If you are after an album though you are much better off buying the CD, for one if you accidentally delete or loose your files they are just gone, secodly you wont save much in fact with a lot of older albums it can be a lot cheaper to go out and buy the CD and the saving on new albums aren't that great. Advantages: Cheap, legal downloads. Easy to use. Disadvantages: Can be a bit slow depending on how many files you have.
...I've been using iTunes for a few years now & use it as my main music player, I used to use windows media player but iTunes blows that completely out of the water.
ITunes is completely free & very easy to download, you can download it from the apple website, just type in iTunes on google or probably the simplest thing is to connect your iPod usb cable to your computer or laptop & if you don't already have it installed it will install it for you. ... ...you can import into your iTunes library simply by finding the file they are stored in & clicking import to iTunes. Apple have really raised the bar & set the standard for music downloading in the last couple of years & of course as they keep updating their iPods they need to update their iTunes. You will get a pop up message when you open up your iTunes library whenever there has been an upgrade to iTunes & it will ask you if you would like to upgrade ...
