Having read various articles about Ic24 and seeing that it was voted number one by the members of net4nowt I thought it was worth a look at. The site is easy to navigate and ensure that you download the free software and not the one pence a minute one which caught me at the start. The site is totally free but only for limited hours. I've been using IC24 alongside my existing ISP for almost a year to take advantage of their no-strings 0800 access - you simply registered and downloaded the internet settings - no catches - just an 0800 number to dial into for free from 8 to 12 every night. To be fair to IC24 the offer was always supposed to be temporary - but they put back the end date time after time, and I was beginning to think that this wonderful offer would go on for ever! I signed up with IC24 a while ago, and barring a few bad days, which everyone has, the service has been pretty reliable. The service is run through Expoloer and Outlook, with no other cumbersome front ends. Along with 5 email addresses, there is 10mb of free web space that is REALLY easy to use. I'm currently running 2 semi commercial web sites from mine. Also, IC24 offer free connection between 8 - 12 pm weekdays and 9 - 5 weekends. Can't say fairer than that. Its free thats the bottom line its all that seems to matter but oh no. There are a few things you have to keep in mind. First of all is the weekday internet i am on it right now and i can tell you its as fast as any other ive used but when you want to log on your gonna have a terrible time. You can spend whole hours just trying to log on and unless you get on on the hour you do not have a chance sometimes even if you try on the hour failure laughs at you.
