After many years of drinking nothing but Coke (and now suffering greatly for it) I decided that I should give my body a rest and try something a bit more healthy. I started drinking water - so much I felt that I could have my own personal swimming pool in my stomach - but felt that I needed something with a bit of flavour so while shopping I decided to buy some kind of fruit juice.
While in our local Iceland shop I noticed a carton in someone else's basket and decided to take a look and see what they had to offer. Now I had heard that Grapefruit juice is brilliant for the digestion and knew it worked as hubby had tried it when he went on a diet many moons ago. A glass of grapefruit juice before a meal helps the digestion work quicker and better. Apparently it breaks down the fats in your foods and makes them easier to be dispelled from the body. So Grapefruit juice was high on the list of purchases even though I do find the taste can be quite bitter.
I found the cartons and looked for a grapefruit juice but the only one available was Orange and Grapefruit so I thought I would give it a try.
Packaging ~~~~~~~~~
The packaging is bright yellow with the flavour in white writing on a bright pink panel. A nice picture of a pink grapefruit and oranges shows the flavour. The side panel gives you the nutritional information as well as the ingredients and the Iceland Promise of replacing the item or refunding your moeny if you are not happy with the item - Food you can trust (TM) There is a pouring spout in the top of the carton with a screw on lid. The best before date is printed clearly on the top of the carton

This is great value at the moment as Iceland are doing 1 litre cartons for 89p or 3 cartons (any flavours) for £2.00. This is only 15p per 250ml
The Juice ~~~~~~~~~
The smell is lovely when you first open the bottle. Grapefruit and Oranges fill your senses. A wake up call before you have even tasted any of the juice. The Juice itself is smooth and has no bits. It is made entirely from concentrates of the fruits so there are no artificial colourings or flavours in this - just pure fruit juice.
The taste is great - you taste the orange first and then get the "back" taste of the grapefruit. It isn't bitter and leaves a nice taste in your mouth.
I like to have Pure Orange Juice with some lemonade for a nice refreshing drink and this is lovely with Lemonade and plenty of ice. Definitely refreshing on a hot day.

My Opinion ~~~~~~~~~
This is definitely a product I would recommend to anyone. It is a lovely fruit juice with no bitter after taste. It is cheap and great value for money. At this price it is worth trying. The main problem is the sugar content which is quite high.
