Advantages: Flat, sharp, friendly on the eyes, easy setup and menus
Disadvantages: Bit heavy  -  not the Armani of monitor designs

Recommend to potential buyers: yes

Full review
My boss recommended this monitor for my new system (I say new - it is a year old now!). I work in IT and I am also studying for a degree - so in my books I needed a monitor that was flicker free, sharper than Blackadder's wit and pleasant on the eyes.

It is the 17" flat-screen model. It looks nice - nothing designer - but it is a bit of a heavy swine to move about. It comes with all the necessary bit and bobs and the set-up is very easy :)

Basically - it is great! It is even better than my monitor at work and that is 19" in size. The flat screen keeps the glare off and the colours are crystal - everything is always sharp and with a graphically accelerated game the screen is superb!

DVD too is spot on - I have had no trouble what so ever. Haven't had to adjust it, mess with the menu controls with the monitor - nothing! It just sits there doing its job - not straining my eyes.

Price - a bit expensive - around the £300 (I got it cheaper though cause I know a man with a dog - don't we all!)... However - if you ARE working or playing on your PC a lot consider a really good monitor like this or better if you are flush. It is worth the extra for the quality and for your healths sake. No one can replace your eyes - so treat them to the best I say :)

Vision Master Pro 410 - Worth every penny
Review of Iiyama Vision Master Pro 410 by roberthart

Advantages: Image quality, Resolution
Disadvantages: Heavy, price. Can faintly see damper wires

...install as any other and Iiyama regularly provides updates. The screen is also flat which is better for playing games and improves the viewing angle. The only problems i've found with this monitor are that its very heavy about 50lbs i think, this can be annoying if you need to move it about a lot. Also if you looks closely it is possible to see 2 faint horizontal lines across the screen - but you get this with a lot of monitors and chances are you ... Read review

State of art monitor
Review of Iiyama Vision Master Pro 410 by pehchiong

Advantages: Dont strain your eyes
Disadvantages: Expensive

...who tends to work on long hours on the computer, it will not strain their eyes as much as the normal non-flat screen. The screen is really flat, and this is good. A thumb up to IIyama for a good monitor. However, the downside is that it is really expensive! ... Read review

An Oldie but a Goodie
Review of Iiyama Vision Master Pro 410 by ChaoticReality

Advantages: Doesn't strain the eyes, Good quality
Disadvantages: Heavy, Expensive compared to alternatives

Got this monitor with a PC I bought in January 1999 and since then it's lasted me through 3 other machines to my current one. Whenever I have bought a new computer, I have always moved this monitor to the new machine, and used the monitor shipped with the new machine on the old one. My reason for this? This monitor is too good to leave behind on the old machine. Even though it is over 5 years old now, I prefer it immensly to the monitors shipped ...
...excellent as is the support for different resolutions and refresh rates. The fact that the screen is almost completely flat is also a high point for this product. I can use this monitor in direct sunlight and not have to worry too much about the reflection/glare, which is very useful as my eyesight is not the best. My main gripe with this product would be the size and weight of the monitor. It is exceedingly heavy as monitors go and it does take ... Read review

Excellent monitor for Graphics work
Review of Iiyama Vision Master Pro 410 by Wolfbeast

Advantages: Clear, true-to-colour image, flat and non-distorted picture.
Disadvantages: Price, weight

Being a graphics artist, I require a steady, flicker-free, sharp and true-to-colour monitor. Even in this day and age nothing beats the kind or CRT this monitor has. It is a well-known fact that the inherent properties of LCD monitors give a lot of problems for graphics work. I have looked around for a possible TFT replacement for my main monitor, but have found that the technology for me does not give me what I need, not even in the top of the line ...
...problem if you need to use accurate (small) tint differences and/or shading on images. So I reverted back to looking at the CRTs I could still find. Combinin the excellent picture tube with a fully flat front surface with the no-nonsense and calibration friendly adjustments, this monitor has it all! Some people would find the two thin horizontal damper wires on the image tube annoying, but it is a small price to pay for having an image that is not ... Read review

And out and it comes
Review of Iiyama Vision Master Pro 410 by Kuli2

Advantages: It brings things too life
Disadvantages: The depth of it

...was advised to purchase the iiyama pro 410 monitior with my new computer some time back by my brother. He told me that it was a great monitor to buy because it was a great size and the images on the screen where not too squashed and they werent over stretched to fit on the screen. After buying the monitor I found that a great thing about it this is that it brings the best graphics right out into your face. Any game is brought out and into a "reallife" ...
...game. Even though the iiyama PRO 410 is a great monitor there is only 1 problem and this is that the monitor is very deep and it takes up a lot of desk space. This cause any desk to seem cluttered and untidy because it pused everything else to the front of the desk. I dont know how much I paid exactly for the monitor because it came as part of my computer package but I guess that it is around £60. The monitor has 3 buttons to control the brightness ... Doesn't live up to iiyamas reputation
Review of Iiyama MF-8515G (Visionmaster 350) by  yhwman

Advantages: High refresh rates, it's not to bad for a 15" shadow mask monitor
Disadvantages: it's not a great 15" shadow mask monitor, 15" monitors aren't that great anyway.

...The MF-8515G doesn’t do the name iiyama justice. The monitor has poor power regulation, which means the picture resizes when the screen moves from large amounts of white to large amounts of black on the screen. The contrast is also quiet poor, though bear in mind I am writing this on the iiyama Vision Master pro 410 (Also known as the a702-ht for no apparent reason) which is the finest monitor known to man as far as I’m concerned, so anything else looks poor! In it’s favour it does have a good OSD by iiyama standards, though it’s still the area iiyama constantly loose out in, and it has good refresh rates for a 15” monitor. All the same, have a look around before buying this.... Read review
