I shopped with Inphasetechnology.com using their Ebay store and the experience wasn't something I was happy about.

I purchased a reasonably priced item, it was cheaper than elsewhere so I decided it was a decent enough bargain. I purchased the item, used Paypal to pay for it and waited a few days for it to arrive. Unfortunately I never received my item.

I purchased a reasonably priced item, it was cheaper than elsewhere so I decided it was a decent enough bargain. I purchased the item, used Paypal to pay for it and waited a few days for it to arrive. Unfortunately I never received my item.

Initially I thought it was just a slow postage issue so I was patient, but as the weeks went on I sent a message to Inphasetechnology.com's Ebay shop via the Ebay site. I then waited a few days and never got an email in reply. I sent a further message to the seller, but again didn't receive an email in reply.

Around a month had now passed since my purchase and I was a little upset at not receiving the item and more so at not receiving an email to my questions about it's location. It was now time to get my money back, so I raised a dispute via Paypal, entering my basic informtion and waited for a response. Paypal responded to me, but the seller never once responded to my dispute via Paypal! This was starting to look like a worrying trend, so once the Paypal site allowed me (after a period of days) I raised the dispute to a refund request.

Having had a bad experience with this seller I decided to warn others and left negative feedback stating that I'd not received the item or had any contact. Unfortunately this time the seller did reply, but not to my mesages or to the Paypal dispute. Instead they left me negative feedback in return, despite me not doing anything wrong and despite me attempting to fully uphold my side of the deal! And worst still, they included a personal insult in the feedback they left for me. To me this seemed petty and very unprofessional.

I put this down to experience and decided not to give this supplier my custom in the future. Once bitten, twice shy etc. and I knew that as they'd not replied to Paypal or myself I would get a full refund. The insulting and untrue negative feedback they'd left against my name was annoying, but I could live with that if I got my money back.

I checked out the sellers feedback and saw that they had a majority of positive feedback, so it may be that I was just unlucky in my experience with them, but it's an experience that has made me never want to do business with them again. I can accept mistakes, but personal insults and spiteful untrue feedback is just not on. I also noticed that they had other bad feedback and some were of a similar nature.

I tried contacting the supplier again to complain and this time they did reply to me. The outcome was that they claimed there was a problem with delivery. This may be true, I don't know, however previous actions in this encounter haven't left me with a happy experience. The outcome was that they agreed to remove my feedback rating in a mutual removal agreement. The only problem is that to get my rating removed, there's has to be too. I like having 100% ratings, so I agreed but I almost feel as if this is a good tactic in getting negative feedback removed by sellers by giving me, the buyer a negative feedback and then offering an agreement to have both removed. My refund is currently being processed by Paypal.
